HERE'S the latest goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Children's Fund, David Beckham, with a child in Sierre Leone.
He was urging us not to turn our backs on starving children in developing countries.
This photograph of Beckham holding five-year-old Senyo says it all.
Beckham met Senyo at a feeding centre in Makeni last week. The child was so hungry he could barely walk. Perfect photo opportunity, but what a powerful message.
The soccer star succeeded in drawing attention to the plight of starving children to the rest of the world.
